Welcome to Walnut Circle Grill. We are located in historic downtown Hattiesburg and are proud to contribute to Hattiesburg's downtown revitalization success.

OUr executive Chef, Mike McElroy, owner, oversees a robust menu of New York Style Italian and Continental Cuisine served in an elegant, yet relaxed atmosphere.

We have a full bar and an extensive wine list. We offer No Cover/Live Entertainment on weekends beginning at 8 pm. Stop by for great food and atmosphere or to enjoy your favorite beverage.

  OUR CHEF

Chef Mike McElroy - A notable enthusiast for bold experiences in both food and life characterizes Walnut Circle Grill’s Executive Chef Mike McElroy. His passion for the kitchen began at age fifteen in his native Hattiesburg. Chef Mike's desire to learn every aspect of the restaurant business led him to design and build Walnut Circle Grill. His culinary skills have taken him around the world, and he continues to please guests with both casual and sophisticated cuisine.

Lunch is served: Tuesday through Friday - 11:00 am to 2 pm
Dnner is served:
Tuesday through Thursday - 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and
Friday and Saturday - 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Driving Directions:

Going south on Highway 49, turn left (east) on Hardy Street and go a little over 2.0 miles. At downtown red light, intersection with Hwy 11 (W. Pine Street) street turns slightly left and merges with W. Front Street. Drive 2 blocks and turn right at red light at Main Street. Drive 2 blocks, cross the railroad tracks and turn right onto Walnut Street. Walnut Circle Grill is in the next block on the right side of the street.

  ENTERTAINMENT

We offer 'No Cover/live entertainment in our courtyard on Friday and Saturday night from 8 to 11 pm. Enjoy jazz, blues and southern rock under the stars in our open -air courtyard.

Walnut Circle Grill was voted "Best Restaurant Decor" and "Best Chefs" 2006 by Mississippi Magazine readers.

The "Award of Merit for New Streetscapes" was
presented to the McElroy Family by the Mississippi Heritage Trust in 2006 for its development of Walnut Street in historic downtown Hattiesburg.

In an effort to educate our customers about wines and to provide an opportunity to sample different vintages, we host an annual wine festival with wines from all over the world as well as periodic wine tastings and wine pairings featuring a seven course meal with select fine wines paired with each course.
